This policy explains how subscriptions to the ClearOcean Service can be cancelled and when refunds may apply. It forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service.
If we offer a free trial, we will clearly disclose, before you sign up, the trial length and the price and billing frequency that begin automatically when the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, until cancelled. We will provide any pre-renewal or price-change notices required by law.
You can cancel at any time from your account settings, using the same simple, online method you used to subscribe — no phone calls, no retention hurdles. Cancellation stops all future renewals. Your access continues until the end of the current paid period; it is not pro-rated.
Because the Service delivers digital research and signals immediately and continuously, fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun, except where a refund is required by applicable law. As a courtesy, we may, at our sole discretion, refund the most recent charge if you contact us promptly (for example, within [7] days of that charge) and have made limited use of the Service.
[EEA/UK note: where a statutory right of withdrawal applies, we will honour it; note that providing digital content/services during the withdrawal period may require your express consent and acknowledgement that you lose that right once performance begins.]
If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us first at billing@DOMAIN so we can resolve it quickly, rather than filing a chargeback.
Billing & cancellation support: billing@DOMAIN. We aim to respond within [2] business days.
