CLEAR·OCEAN

How ClearOcean reads insider activity

ClearOcean re-scans the market continuously and turns public data into a single 0–10 signal. Most candidates are rejected — only the strongest few reach a validated signal.

What we read

Open-market insider purchases (SEC Form 4), activist 13D campaigns and dilution filings; balance-sheet health and solvency; unusual volume and money flow; forensic red flags such as short-seller theses, investigations and auditor turnover; and the macro volatility regime.

Why so few pass

A signal must clear every layer — conviction, quality, clean dilution, no red flags, acceptable risk/reward — or it is not surfaced. The result is intentionally rare: zero to two validated signals a month, not a daily feed.

What this is not

The score is a factual model output, not personalised advice. ClearOcean never executes trades. The exact thresholds and weights are proprietary.

ClearOcean is a software research tool, not an investment adviser or broker-dealer. This page aggregates public data (incl. SEC filings) for informational purposes only — it is not investment advice, nor a recommendation, offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security. Past activity does not predict future results. You are solely responsible for your decisions; investing can lose value, up to total loss of capital.
